Three hundred four and counting

I was noodling around my dashboard page this morning, only to discover that this is my 304th post!  I can’t believe that I’ve had that much to say (or not say, as it were).  I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I was not blessed with the virtue of “stick with it-ness”.  I start and stop an awful lot of stuff.  Jobs, hobbies, friendships, exercise plans.  You name it, I’ve likely tried it and quit already.

But not so with blogging.  I’ve waxed and waned, but I keep coming back and I have to credit you with that. Yes, you my friend.  Thanks for reading.  Thanks for your emails and comments and kind words.  Thanks for laughing at the funny bits, and commiserating over the sad ones.  Thanks for taking a few minutes out of your day to spend time here in this little spot of mine.

If you’ve never taken the chance to say hello, then please do leave a comment.  And while you’re introducing yourself, let me know what you’d like to see more of around here.  Photos, books, expat life, faith, Ethan’s latest quotes?  Whatever floats your fancy.  Looking forward to “meeting” you!  (And if we’re already acquainted, I’d love to hear your thoughts too).

  • I have to tell you my husband was just after me to make him a big pot of tea as I clicked into your blog! LOL. When I read your title I thought God has a great sense of humor. It’s nice to know you! I’m off to make tea.

I just love your “voice” . Which comes through , in your words, your pictures, your thoughts.

I’m sorry that isn’t much help.

But congratulations on all the posts, and heres to more , I hope!

  • Wow 304 posts ! That’s quite an accomplishment. Where/when did you start your blog? What motivated/inspired you? I, of course, love to hear about the expat life ! The adjustment is fascinating… and in about 6months all of this will become so familiar and second nature that you will not be so surprised by all the strange and exotic first impressions. On my wish list of other posts: Do you have any big travel plans, what are the things your pack mule will bring back from the US, any fun/strange Switz experiences/festivals/observations ?! I love to read it all… Here’s to the next 304 !
