Calling all book publishers

Julie and Julia was an absolutely delightful diversion from my continuing gastrointestinal issues. I left the theater with a smile on my face and my man on my arm, and I couldn’t have enjoyed it more. It proved to me that you can be 30, 34 or, like Julia, in your 50’s before your life’s dreams and ambitions come to fruition. It’s never too late to become who you want to be.
In Julie’s case, it also proved to me that blogging can open up a world of opportunities. You never know who might be reading:) So, if anyone wants to offer me a book deal to write about life’s important issues such as weird things my kids say, dogs who eat their own poop, or my fear of snakes, I would be happy to accept.

  • I haven’t seen this one yet, but I appreciate the encouragement that you’re never too old for your dreams to come true! I’ll have to check out the movie.

By the way, I was sitting outside reading today when I saw a snake moving across the grass not too far away. I was braver than usual and tried to sick the cat on it.

  • I just got chills reading your comment, Bonita. Not cool, not cool at all. Since I don’t have a cat, I have to rely on my kids.
